Cambridge is one of my favorite places in the UK. It is a perfect destination to spend a weekend .
The last time I visited Cambridge, I have spent a weekend to enjoy better this visit . As always I travel with my dog Pauli for me it is very important to find pet friendly places.
As we were going to spend a night in Cambridge we stayed at Travelodge Cambridge Newmarket Road, a pet friendly hotel located a few minutes from the center of Cambridge. In addition to accepting dogs in room they allowed in all the facilities of the hotel, which is very important to enjoy the breakfast and meals at the restaurant together with Pauli.
Cambridge es uno de mis lugares favoritos en UK. Es un destino perfecto para pasar un fin de semana y recorrer sus calles.
La última vez que he visitado Cambridge he aprovechado para disfrutando de un fin de semana para aprovechar mejor mi visita. Como siempre viajo con mi perrita Pauli para mi es muy importante encontrar lugares pet friendly .
Como íbamos a pasar una noche en Cambridge nos alojamos en Travelodge Cambridge Newmarket Road , un hotel pet friendly ubicado a unos minutos del centro de Cambridge.
Además de aceptar perros en las reservas ellos pueden estar en todas las instalaciones del hotel , lo que es muy importante para poder disfrutar del desayuno y las comidas del restaurante junto con Pauli.
Cambridge is a beautiful place to visit.
Of all the places to visit, Kings College Chapel is the most famous building in Cambridge. Outside, the best views of the chapel are from Kings Parade and Queen’s Road, and also from its entrance through the Senate House Passage or Trinity Lane.
The Church of the Holy Sepulcher, also known as the Round Church, is a small and attractive Norman church located at the junction of St. John’s Street and Sidney Street. It is one of the only four round churches built by the Knights Templar throughout Great Britain.
The Cambridge Market is a market open 6 days a week. In summer, food, clothing and accessories are sold, as well as all kinds of souvenirs. On Sundays, there are craft stalls and the famous Farmer’s Market, which is a farmers market where you can find 100% homemade production.
The University of Cambridge is made up of different universities, which have the oldest and most beautiful buildings in the city. The buildings of university colleges (colleges) are almost all of them around the courts. You can easily walk around some of them and visit chapels and halls

El Cambridge Market, es un mercado abierto 6 días a la semana. En verano, se vende comida, ropa y complementos, así como todo tipo de recuerdos. Los domingos, hay puestos de artesanía y el famoso Farmer’s Market, que se trata de un mercado de agricultores donde puedes encontrar producción 100% caseros
La Universidad de Cambridge se compone de diferentes universidades, que tienen los edificios más antiguos y hermosos de la ciudad. Los edificios de los colegios (colleges) universitarios están casi todos ellos entorno a los tribunales. Se puede caminar fácilmente alrededor de algunos de ellos y visitar capillas y salas
Behind the main line of the colleges, along the Cam River, are the so-called Backs . Each university has its own river space, so you can not walk along the river through the Backs, although some schools charge an entrance fee even for crossing their bridges.
The best way to see and enjoy the parts Backs of the schools is without a doubt in gondola or pedal boat, very popular in Cambridge. These boats can be hired at Silver Street or at the Magdalene Bridge Bridge Pier
Detrás de la línea principal de los colleges, a lo largo del río Cam, están los llamados Backs (denominados así por estar a espaldas de los colegios). Cada universidad posee su propio espacio de río, por lo que no se puede caminar a lo largo del río por los Backs, aunque en algunos colegios se cobra una cuota de entrada incluso por cruzar por sus puentes
La mejor manera de ver y disfrutar de las partes traseras de las escuelas es sin lugar a dudas en góndola o barca de pedales, muy popular en Cambridge. Éstas barcas se pueden alquilar en Silver Street o en el muelle del puente Magdalene Bridge
